Just a Saturday Around the House

Anna Beth spent the night with my parents last night. Matt and I had several things around the house to get done this morning and early afternoon. I went to pick Anna Beth up this afternoon and while I was gone Matt cleaned out Anna Beth's pool. She was so excited and went straight to put on her bathing suit. She played in the pool 4 hours this evening. We even had supper out by the pool. She had so much fun!

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year! Anna Beth gave me a swing for the back porch. I'm really excited about it and know we will use it alot this summer. So thankful for my little girl (and little boy that is on the way!) Being a mommy is the most rewarding job!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Our trip to the beach was for our 8th anniversary! Matt and I were high school sweethearts and have dated/been married for over half our lives! Crazy, huh? I am very blessed to have such a wonderful husband!

Beach Trip

I will go ahead and warn everyone....there are lots of pictures with this post! We always take a beach trip to Gulf Shores for our anniversary each year. This year with the oil scare we decide to head down into Florida to try to avoid the oil. It was our first time to stay in Destin and we really enjoyed it!

It rained on us from Montgomery to Destin and continued to rain the entire first night we were there. Therefore, we all look like drowned rats in the next few pics. After checking into the hotel, we headed out to do some shopping and to eat at Pompano Joe's.
