Anna Beth's Big Girl Bed

We recently went for our 18 month check up with Dr. Zbell. We mentioned to her about Anna Beth waking up in the middle of the night, but going right back to sleep once we put her in bed with us. She asked if she was still in her crib and we told her yes. She suggested going ahead and changing over to her toddler bed so she would have more room. I thought she was still too young, but we decided to give it a try! Last night, Matt took the rail off her baby bed and put the side rail on. Anna Beth went to sleep by herself in it and slept all night long! This afternoon she laid right down for her nap. I am shocked that she is staying in it and not climbing out. This is bittersweet for me. My baby is not a baby anymore. That makes me very sad. But at the same time, I am so excited about her growing and changing. It seems like in the last several weeks, she has really gotten good at putting words together and communicating with us. I miss her being my baby, but each day is more fun than the last!

Chuck-E-Cheese

I wasn't sure I ever wanted Anna Beth to know about Chuck-E-Cheese, but when Jay & Alicia invited us to go with them and Bryson & Kynsley, we couldn't turn down the offer. The kids had a blast (and we did too!)

Where does the time go???

Before I had Anna Beth, I always wondered what other women that had children were talking about when they said they never had time to do anything since their children had been born. I always thought "They are just kids. What's the big deal!?" Now I guess I am being paid back for thinking those terrible things about those ladies :-) Sadly, this is my first real post of 2009 and it's already February! I don't have time for anything anymore!!! Anna Beth has definitely hit the toddler stage. She is into anything and everything. She loves to climb now and she is quick at it!Below is a picture of her sitting on the kitchen table.

She is so much fun at this age! She has a new found love of apples.
